In 2008 when I wasn't at the actual convention I spent a lot of my time at The Big Tent. I was happy to find out that it will be back in 2012.
We’re excited to announce that Big Tent Charlotte will be making its debut at Netroots Nation 2012. Just visit the exhibit hall and you’ll find a booth where you can get more information and register for a credential.
Hosted by Daily Kos and Netroots Foundation, the Big Tent will be a new media and activist hub for those covering the 2012 Democratic National Convention. With a blogger lounge and public content area, it will be the place to work, network, learn, eat and drink in Charlotte.
Building on the unprecedented success of the Big Tent Denver in 2008, The Big Tent will house a state-of-the-art work space for bloggers and activists with wifi, work areas, live coverage of every minute of the Democratic National Convention and food and drink. Plus, we’ll feature leaders in the non-profit, tech and political worlds at special sessions that will be streamed online.
